im starting to really hate bimmers

short circuit on the radio unit. must replace entire unit for $610 + $125 diagnosis fee + $50 deductible. shits under cpo and im still spending shitloads of cash on repairs. bimmers fucking suck in quality. stick with benz or lexus

What did you have to pay out of pocket? Just the deductible?

i wish it was just the deductible. i had to pay for the new radio/nav unit that costs $610 as well as that diagnosis fee to find out what the problem was which was $125 + $50 deductible. RAPE

Yep... just evidence here that CPO DOES NOT COVER EVERYTHING. it does not cover electronics... Yeah, having a bimmer or any car has its pros and cons...

BMW=Break My Wallet ,so you got the brand name car then you have to paid a brand name price.

mrbmwx5 - where did you get those fogs? Is your pic photoshopped?

why do you have to pay a deductable if you paid for the parts? I think the "diagnostics fee" is the dumbest thing i've ever heard of. Maybe alot of people were bringing their cars to BMW to diag the issue then saying "ok thanks, bye!" and bringing it to their indie shop to fix it.

no is not photoshopped
HID fogs 10k from here http://stores.ebay.com/buyhid2007 and its been two years with out any problem.
